The Callanish Stones are an arrangement of standing stones placed in a cruciform pattern with a central stone circle. They were a focus for ritual activity during the Paleolithic Age to Industrial/modern.
Standing among the ancient standing stones with my divining rods, I thought to myself: how did the ancients know where to build these stones.¬† Well, the first clue was probably these divining rods (Divining Rods are used to find energy lines, locate underground water or metal) ¬†they could detect earth energy running like an electrical charge below the earth‚Äôs surface.¬† The lighting bolt of electricity or ‚Äėdragon lines‚Äô I imagined looked as if a wild dragon with multi colored wings of electric current was flying by at the speed of light.
Around 9 years ago when I was in England talking to Hamish Miller, ( a famous dowser; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q_1qD0aHI78) and walking his family land, he explained that when he used the divining rods they might map out a sacred geometry pattern inside a stone circle.  Hamish would take teams of different experts into the old ancient stone sites and by placing a piece of wood with a string to another piece of wood they would map out the pattern.  The sacred geometry pattern might look like a hexagonal or pentagonal structure.  What Hamish was finding was  in most cases the patterns were not old patterns because new patterns were emerging.
Back to my story of the Callanish Stones in May 2015 in Scotland: As I was walking the stones I was being reminded of ¬†the deceased dowsers words in my head, ‚Ķ‚ÄĚjust walk, let the divining rods do the work as they feel the Earth energy.‚ÄĚ ¬†After an hour of walking my thoughts turned to home. I live in a place that doesn‚Äôt have standing stones but is a natural place of energy that is a confluence of power that creates power where the three rivers meet.¬† Maybe there is even a NEW sacred geometry symbol to be dowsed at the Point in Peaceburgh?
